Truffles
Our truffles are hand rolled and dipped in tempered chocolate.  They are also available rolled in cocoa powder.

Truffles are currently available in boxes of 4 ($7) and 8 ($12)
.  Minimum order of at least 4 per flavor (does not apply to planets).  Bark is packaged by the 1/2 pound.

Send us an email to make an order!  We can arrange local pickup, or ship USPS!

Ingredients
All truffles contain dark chocolate (and everything in it) and butter.  We cannot guarantee that our products are nut free.  Some truffles contain artificial flavors.  Please ask about any other allergies.
Flavors
  • Amaretto: Amaretto liquor and ground amaretti (almond paste) cookies give this truffle both flavor and texture.
  • Aztec Spice: Chocolate was originally prepared as a spiced (and not sweet) drink.  This flavor pays tribute to that preparation.  Chili powder, nutmeg, Ceylon cinnamon, ground chipotle, vanilla, and a touch of honey make this unique flavor.
  • Cherry-Balsamic: One doesn't normally associate vinegar with chocolate, but a good balsamic vinegar gets sweeter with time.  This truffle is made with a cherry infused balsamic vinegar aged at least 18 years.
  • Blue Lounge Cat: The name is the product of some horrible handwriting.  Originally written on a mead carboy: blue-orange-card (short for blueberry, orange, and cardamom).  This flavor features those three ingredients for a lovely combination.
  • Chai:  Reminiscent of the tea, this truffle is spiced with Saigon cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, candied ginger, and a touch of honey.
  • Earl Grey Tea:  Bergamot flavor and ground Darjeeling tea leaves make you imagine your favorite cup of tea!
  • Egg Nog:  This truffle really makes you think of the real thing.  Seasoned with a little extra nutmeg to give it a good kick.
  • English Toffee: What makes a delicious candy bar can also make a delicious truffle.  English toffee bits are mixed with the soft rolled chocolate to give a delightful texture.
  • Espresso: A famous chocolate pairing; these truffles are made with a super-concentrated, high quality espresso.
  • Irish Cream: This truffle has a lighter whisky flavor and all the smoothness of a good Irish cream.
  • Lemon-Lavender: The lavender flowers give the chocolate both flavor and texture, while the lemon brings a refreshing finish.
  • Mint: Another classic pairing; this truffle uses Creme de Menthe to deliver its flavor.
  • Maple Bourbon: Using a smokey maple bourbon, this truffle reminds you of spring any time of year.
  • Orange: Fruit and chocolate often go well together.  The orange flavor comes through nicely.
  • Raspberry: Quite possibly our most popular flavor!  This classic combination uses a home-made raspberry concentrate.
  • This flavor is temporarily unavailable due to supply issues.  Rose: Rose is flavor that goes far back in history, but has been forgotten by many in our modern society.  Rose water and rose syrup combine  sweetly with the chocolate to give you a delightful flavor experience.
  • Whisky: This truffle has a stronger whisky flavor that pairs very well with chocolate.

Nut Planets
These dipped confections consist of a toasted nut "core", a sweetened nut butter "mantle", and a crisp chocolate "crust".  Each one is named for one of the original nine planets (poor Pluto...).  We unfortunately had to leave out Mercury...

Planets are currently available in boxes of 4 and 8.  They can be ordered as a set.

Ingredients
All planets contain dark chocolate (and everything in it), nut butter, nuts, and powdered sugar.  Some contain extracts or flavorings.

Flavors
  • Venus: Pistachio (using a homemade pistachio butter).  It is green, isn't it?
  • Earth: Hazelnut (chocolate and hazelnut mantle).  Because what's better than that?
  • Mars: Almond.  Mars-ipan?
  • Jupiter: Macadamia.  Largest planet?  Largest nut!  (I don't think we could fit a Brazil nut into a truffle...)
  • Saturn: Cashew.  It's like half of a ring, right?
  • Uranus: Walnut.  Because.
  • Neptune: Pecan.  Because.
  • Pluto: Peanut.  Pluto's not a planet?  Well, a peanut's not a nut!

Other Confections
More will be coming!  These confections will be available by the half-pound (maybe quarter-pound; haven't quite gotten that far yet).

Dark Chocolate Bark
Exactly what it sounds like!  Currently available in almond and almond-espresso.

Fudge
Not yet available, but we plan to take some of our more unusual truffle flavors and put them into this delicious confection.
